Jayson Tatum Drives Further than Tiger Woods

Thus far the Celtics have graced us with plenty of content to enjoy while they are living in the bubble. Whether it’s golfing with the boys or streaming Call of Duty, there’s plenty to enjoy.

Tatum Woods, Kemba Mickelson, Gordon Palmer, and Grant Nicklaus have taken to the links since being stuck in Disney. We’ve gotten videos of them on the course, at the range, and even a story of how Kemba ordered golf clubs just so he could take on the hobby. In the first video I saw was Tatum and Kemba on the tee box. Tatum was about to tee off with a driver and Kemba was gassing him up behind the camera. From the look of the shot and the caption given, it seems as though Tatum managed to hit his drive 320 yards. For reference, when you Google “how far does Tiger Woods drive the ball”, the answer that pops up is 285 yards. That means that Jayson Tatum managed to drive the ball further than Tiger does on average.

Then a couple days later we saw Gordon Hayward on the driving range. Crazy to see considering he went from “you will not find me on the golf course right now” to “could play every day” in the matter of a few sessions at Disney. Love to see it. I would pay to get a streamed match of the four Celtic golfers.

Another funny moment was seeing 7’5” Tacko fall on a bicycle. I mean I’m all for having fun outside, but boy does that man need a bigger bike. He looked one of those clowns at a circus who rides around on a comically small bike for entertainment. I mean, hey, keep doing you Tacko. We all love to see it.

A couple of players have even begun streaming Call of Duty during the restart. I know Gordon Hayward has streamed in the past, but we’ve seen Semi Ojeleye and Vincent Poirier start to get in the game recently. Semi has even been playing with his followers on Twitch. So if you ever wanted to play some Warzone with one of your favorite players, now’s your chance. He Tweets out every time he’s live so follow him on Twitter and Twitch.

I’m just glad we’re getting closer and closer to basketball finally returning. At least the Celtics are providing us with some sort of entertainment until then. Even if it is just them living their normal lives in the bubble.
