The Celtics lost a rough one vs the Chicago Bulls last night, 121-99. Evan Fournier had a hot first quarter, but Kemba Walker was the only one who seemed to remain consistent throughout the game.

Walker finished the night with a season-high 33 points to go along with four rebounds and three assists. He shot 10-22 from the field and 6-13 from deep. He and Fournier combined for nine of the team’s 11 threes.

In his first two games back from injury, Walker has been averaging 32.5 points. He’s also doing so on super-efficient shooting - 52.5% from the field and 54.5% from deep. At the same time, he has been covering for Jayson Tatum, who has put up a combined 23 points in the last two games. With Jaylen Brown out, Walker’s uptick in production is really helping, but Tatum needs to step up, too.

Boston now faces two back-to-back games against Miami, both of which are important for playoff seeding purposes. The first of those games will be tomorrow at TD Garden and tips off at 1:00 p.m. (EST) on ESPN.
