The Celtics lost a tough one on Wednesday night, but Jaylen Brown put forward quite the effort. He finished the game with 26 points including a strong first half.

It seems like a pattern, as Brown has had great starts in back to back games now. On Sunday against the Knicks, he carried the C’s in the first quarter. Things were very similar on Wednesday as JB scored 10 of his 26 in the first. He shot 4-8 from the field and 2-4 from deep.

Despite the hot start, Brown cooled off throughout the game. By the final buzzer, he made just 10 of his 24 shots and was 1-6 from deep after the first quarter. He’s starting to be faced with the challenge of being the top scorer and, but has been hanging in there. Sure, he wasn’t the most efficient, but he was still getting good looks for the most part and taking smart shots. Sometimes, the legs just give out and fatigue sets in.

The Celtics will have another crack at the 76ers on Friday night at 7:00 PM EST.
