Despite the rough loss to a struggling Pistons team, there still had to be a player of the game. As a whole the team played pretty poorly, but the one standout performance of the game came from Jaylen Brown.

Brown started off the game struggling to get his offense going, shooting 0-2 from the field in the first quarter. However after that he started to get hot again, finishing the game shooting 12-20 from the field. The one place he did have problems with was behind the arc, where he shot a disappointing 1-7. Regardless, his performances this season have been a real bright spot on the Celtics’ up and down season. He’s been by far the most consistent player on the team, and that trend continued against Detroit.

Hopefully Brown can help will Boston to a victory when they take on the Pistons again on Sunday at 3:00 PM EST.
