The Celtics lost an absolute heartbreaker to the Lakers on Saturday night. I still want to put my head through a wall after those two last attempts somehow didn’t fall (I got bars). However, both of the Jays shined bright on the big stage, and you guys voted for Jayson Tatum to be the player of the game!

Tatum had himself a pretty great night. He poured in 30 points on an efficient 12-18 shooting and grabbed 9 boards in the process. The efficiency is my personal favorite part of his performance. This honestly might be his best game of the season so far - an efficient 30 points is always a top showing.

JT was clutch as well. He made two huge shots to cut the Laker lead to just one in the closing minutes. I wish he’d take over possessions as he did there more often. At the beginning of the fourth quarter, the Celtics were in a serious scoring drought and could’ve used his aggression there for sure.

The C’s are back in action on Tuesday night at 10 PM as they visit the Golden State Warriors.
