The Celtics got blown out by the Atlanta Hawks last night, 112-127. On a night where no one came to play, at least Aaron Nesmith showed some real potential.

The rookie wing scored 13 points on 5/7 shooting from the field and 3/4 shooting from deep. He’s been a constant source of hustle for the Celtics ever since he began to garner regular minutes. Nesmith’s shooting in college was what got him drafted so early, and the C’s saw a glimpse of that last night. Although he’s been inconsistent in that aspect, it’s encouraging to see him knock a few down.

Despite this, the Celtics have continued to struggle to put together wins. These last three games have been particularly ugly. Their next chance to get in the win column will come tomorrow when they take on the Pacers at 7:00 PM EST.
