In what ended up being a major comeback win for the Pelicans, the Celtics dropped back down to .500 yesterday. Nearly everyone on the Celtics was inconsistent, but the one bright spot was Robert Williams.

Williams finished the game with 8 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 blocks, but it was the constant energy he brought to the floor that was so valuable. In a game where almost everyone lost focus in the second half, he didn’t. Williams was always engaged on both ends of the floor, and it’s been that way for a few games now. A lot of people are calling for him to get the start over either Tristan Thompson or Daniel Theis.

Hopefully Williams is able to keep up this pace over the course of the entire season. It’s a huge boost for the team, they just have to take advantage of it next time. The Celtics will take on the Dallas Mavericks in their next game on Tuesday at 7:30 PM EST on TNT.
