The Celtics lost their fourth game in a row last night, falling 102-94 to the Cavaliers. Jayson Tatum’s 29 points provided a small bright spot to the otherwise dreadful night.

Tatum scored 29 points to go along with his eight rebounds and one assist. He also tallied two steals and two blocks. Tatum show 11-26 from the field, but only 1-6 from three for the game.

Jaylen Brown, Kemba Walker, Marcus Smart, and Robert Williams were sidelined for last night’s game. Tatum was left to do most of the scoring. Evan Fournier (15) and Payton Pritchard (15) helped him out in that regard, but it was mainly a one-man show. Outside of Tristan Thompson (71.4%), Tatum was the only player to shoot over 40% from the field on the C’s.

Boston has now sealed their fate in the play-in tournament, with the possibility of slipping down to as far as the ninth seed. Their next game will be this Saturday vs the Timberwolves at 2:00 p.m. (EST) on NBC Sports Boston.
